Looking forward to the holidays? So are we! Minerva Dog Training will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. There will be no classes on the weekend of December 27th and 28th. Classes will resume in the new year on the weekend of January 3rd and 4th, 2026.

High-Drive Dog Lecture

On November 14, Dutch Cell Dogs hosted a lecture by Minna Yrjana. This speaker has years of experience with high-drive dogs. It’s difficult to give a good definition of a high-drive dog, but these are essentially dogs that have a high drive to perform their work tasks.

Ken Ramirez Seminar Weekend

On November 1st and 2nd, Dutch Cell Dogs organized a seminar weekend with guest speaker Ken Ramirez. Naturally, we didn’t want to miss this opportunity and immediately registered for the weekend. A variety of topics were covered, including secondary reinforcers and aggression protocols. It was a very informative weekend, and we also had the opportunity to catch up with colleagues in the field.

Started with VIP Canine Instructor Program

October 12, 2025

In October, Natasja and Angela started the VIP Canine Instructor Program. This is a more advanced program that focuses on Safety, Intervention, and Prevention. The canine instructors who complete this training specialize in the prevention and guidance of dogs at increased risk of biting incidents.
