Basic Obedience 1
Your dog successfully completed the junior dog course, or you never did a training before and would love to take a fun course? Then Basic Obedience 1 is the perfect match for you and your dog!
During this course, we teach you how to better understand your dog. With the online theory, you will learn more about dog behavior, while during the practical classes, we focus on upbringing and training.
Information Basic Obedience 1
This course, consists of 6 practical classes and online theory. You can enroll in this course if your dog has successfully completed our junior course, or if your dog is 10 months or older and has not taken any classes before.
You can start this course at any time. We train with 4 to 6 dogs per group during the course.
Throughout this course, each team trains at their own level, we train for success, and the focus is on strengthening the bond between handler and dog.
Our Basic Obedience 1 course is centered around upbringing and connecting with your dog.
Below are a few of the exercises covered during our practical classes:
- Connection with the owner
- Loose-lead walking skills
- Learning how to pass other dogs
- Ignoring moving objects
- No jumping up
- Introduction to impulse control
- “Clicker training”
