What does a course package consist of?
Our course packages for the Puppy Course and Basic Obedience 1 consist of 8 practical classes of 45 minutes each. The Basic Obedience 2 course consists of 10 practical classes of 45 minutes each. Everyone joins at their own moment and completes the entire course package. All exercises are covered multiple times. In these courses, we also provide additional background information through an online learning environment. This is included in the price.
You offer a trial class. How does this work?
After registering, you’ll receive an email with all the course details and an invoice for the trial class. This is € 35,00 and is included in the total course fee. After the trial class, you can decide whether you wish to continue with the course. We’ll send you an email that week with further course information and the invoice for the remaining course fee.
Which payment method do you use?
After course registration you will receive an e-mail with course details, invoice and iDeal Payment link for the trial class. After the trial class we will send you the. invoice and iDeal Payment link for the remaining course fee.
How many times can I cancel for a class within the course package?
You have the option to cancel twice within the course package. Absences above these two cancellations will be charged by subtracting a lesson from the package.
How do I know if the class is cancelled?
When classes are cancelled, we will post this on Facebook, Instagram, and our website one hour before the start of each class under the “Latest News” heading. In addition for each class we have a WhatsApp group where we keep people updated. If you do not want to be a part of this group, you have to check social media and/or website yourself.
Do you cancel classes when it is bad weather outside?
Only when weather conditions prevent us from training, such as heavy rainfall, snow, thunderstorms, storms, very hot or cold temperatures.
How old does my puppy need to be before I can start with the puppy course?
You can start the Puppy Course from 9 weeks old. Because puppies still need to get used to their surroundings at an early age, we recommend starting the Puppy Course only after your puppy has been at home for a week.
My puppy hasn’t had all his vaccinations yet. Does this matter?
No. The puppy should be vaccinated according to age. During the 9th week of age, puppies are vaccinated against many pathogens and are therefore already largely protected. Puppies also carry protective antibodies from their mother.
How many people are allowed to attend the class?
A maximum of two adults and possibly two children. It’s important that your children don’t just go anywhere near other dogs. Do you have a puppy and would you like your children to train with the dog as well? That’s certainly possible.
Are dogs allowed to play with each other during your course?
We always introduce the puppies to each other, as this promotes socialization. As trainers, we supervise the play. For Basic Obedience 1 and Basic Obedience 2, we don’t allow the dogs to play together, as they are in different life stages.
Are all dog breeds and crossbreeds welcome at your dog school?
Absolutely. Dogs can’t be judged by dog breed. Dogs are individuals.
